The competition schedule, day by day
The Dakar Youth Olympic Games run from 31 October to 13 November 2026, but competition actually starts the day before the opening ceremony: Baseball5 gets under way on Friday 30 October.
Twenty-five sports share fifteen days of competition across the three host cities — Dakar, Diamniadio and Saly. The first medals are awarded on 1 November, in swimming and judo. The busiest day is Tuesday 3 November, when seven sports award titles.
This schedule follows the organising committee’s official grid. Exact session times, venues and ticketing are published by the organiser: check dakar2026.com before travelling, as competition schedules can change late in the day.
